What is the Compass Church Planting Association?

When you open the New Testament, one thing is clear: Christ promised and he is building his church.

Not platforms, not personalities, but local churches where God's word is preached and people are discipled, and lives are transformed. And that's where our burden begins. We're convinced that the most effective way to fulfill the Great Commission is through intentional planting of biblically faithful churches. Churches that are grounded in a high view of God and in his word, committed to evangelism, discipleship, and long-term spiritual growth.

But churches like that, they don't just happen. They require preparation. They require resources. And they require partnership. And that's why we established the Compass Church Planting Association. CCPA exists to help build Christ's Church in facilitating the planting of strong Bible-teaching churches.

And we do that in very practical ways. We help offset startup costs so that new churches can launch well. We invest in training future church planters; men who can be prepared to preach and lead and shepherd with clarity and conviction. We provide administrative support so pastors can stay focused on ministry, not on infrastructure and not on fundraising. And when critical needs arise, and they always do, we want to be able to step in with targeted support to help churches stay on track.

Now all of this is aimed at one goal: Not just starting churches, but starting them strong so that they can grow and becoming self-sustaining and reproducing. Because we're not just pushing short-term impact. We're investing in long-term Gospel presence in the places we plant these churches. Churches that are going to be faithful to proclaim Christ in those communities for generations.

And what makes this especially encouraging is that it's a shared effort; churches, leaders, partners, working together to see Gospel-impact advancing.

So when you think about this work, see it for what it is. This is about strengthening the very means that Christ has chosen to build his church. And there are a few investments more important than that.
