God is doing a mighty work in Long Beach! After two trial Sundays, Compass LB officially launched on February 2nd with 424 in attendance—the same number that showed up on Easter Sunday! Since then, weekly attendance has averaged around 290. Most striking is the feedback: people are amazed by the clear Bible teaching.

A Marriage Saved. A Life Changed.
Mark Hammer came into the church on the brink of divorce. Today, he’s showing signs of genuine salvation since joining in February.
From Atheist to Believer.
A young woman recently professed saving faith at a Compass College night. Once a life-long atheist, she now understands repentance and the gospel.
Freedom from Sin.
A brother with years of hidden pornography confessed and is being discipled toward lasting repentance.
New Steps of Service.
Those from Compass HB are now stepping up to serve and lead in new, fruitful ways.

- Long-term fruit from visitors and new believers
- Fellowship Group space for consistent, coed weekly meetings
- Pastor Josh – endurance and deep trust in God’s Word
- Evangelism efforts in August and outreach in September
- Spiritual depth and unity within the leadership team

- Fellowship Groups: Alternating weeks due to lack of childcare space; up to 140 attending!
- Team Rhythms: Leadership still adjusting post-launch with limited prep time
- Relocation: Josh's family is still in the process of moving to Long Beach
🎉 Answered Prayers
- Sunday Space: Bancroft Middle School has been an ideal place to gather
- Camp Compass: God provided an elementary school to host summer outreach for kids
